木村林吉　５３のオマージュ

いつも画廊を回っていた木村林吉を知る人は多い。
若い頃からよく知っている同郷のひと、
同じ展覧会に発表したひと、
作品を通して知ったひと。
そのひとたちが、それぞれの作品に「木村林吉さん」への思いを託す。

A lot of people know KIMURA Rinkichi as he routinely walked around the galleries.
Some people have known each other well since their juvenile
coming from the same home town .
Others might have submitted their works to the same exhibitions and
became acquainted through them.

Those people will send their messages
packed in their own works to” Mr. KIMURA Rinkichi” in this exhibition.

We hope you take time looking at them as if you untangle strings to find
how each one of artists has connected with KIMURA. .
Probably you will be able to get a glimpse of a trend in art world of Showa era.
