体感する時間とは時によって短く、時によって長くにも感じるが
時計では一秒一秒規則正しく刻まれている。
皆に同じく流れてるはずの時の流れを水滴や砂の落ちる様で可視化している。
今回のタイトルは「Flowers」
白い花々が会期中色づいていくインスタレーション。
花が咲いている時間は短いがそのサイクルの早さが未来への予見につながる。
それは儚くもあり希望につながるものと信じたい。
We actually feel time longer sometimes or shorter other times: however,
when it comes to a clock it ticks every single second punctually.
Supposedly time elapses equally in any occasions,
which I tried to visualize by observing the development
when the water drips or sands fall.
I named this exhibition "Flowers" setting up an installation
that reflected the process how the white flower would turn colors during the exhibition.
The blooming period is brief,
but its rapid cycle hopefully leads to something
I look forward in the future though it's vulnerable. (HONDA Mariko)
